paintings and prints
Q
Do you accept commissions?
A Yes I will accept any commissions that relate to my area of interest, I am an artist who likes to specialise in faery and fantasy/steampunk artwork, so any work I take on will preferably be in that field.
Because at present my artwork is not a full time job I can't promise to produce a piece on very short notice. Typically allow 2-3 months.
I would need a deposit up front and you can expect prices to start from £200.00.
Please email me if you are interested in talking to me regarding a commissioned piece.
Q
Do you take on illustration work?
A Yes, I will happily take on any such work, again providing it relates to my preferred field of work. Please email me with any proposals of this nature.
Q
What painting medium do you use?
A I like to work in acrylics on a fine grained stretched canvas, and the majority of my paintings are produced in this way. Usually I like to work on canvas the following sizes 14x18 inches or 16x20 inches, but if you'd like to commission a piece i obviously can work to any size you like.
Q
How long does each painting take?
A That all depends on what the piece entails, but on average around 50 hours, some take more time though - especially if they have a complicated background.
Q
What are your prints like? Are they good quality?
A They are very good quality giclee prints (which means they are printed on a high quality inkjet printer). Printed professionaly on acid free fine art paper. All my prints come mounted on ivory board and are all ready to frame and display.
Q
I would like a print in a different size, is that possible?
A Yes it is. The prints in the online store are all A4 sized, but I can provide different sizes, for example A5, A3 etc. I can also provide prints on canvas or un-mounted on paper if you wanted to choose a different colour mount for them. Please email me for details and prices.
